Fruit Crumble

INGREDIENTS

TOPPINGS

• 300g All-Purpose Flour
• 200g Unsalted (Plant based) Butter

FILLING

• 500g Red Apples
• 50g Sugar
• 1 Tbsp Flour
• Cinnamon
• Lemon Juice

TO SERVE

• Ice Cream or Fresh Cream
• Fresh Fruit

STEPS

This cozy dessert is easy as pie!
 

•Preheat the oven to 180°C.
 

•To serve six, core and dice 500g of red apples. Mix the apples with 50g of sugar, 1 tbsp of flour, a pinch of cinnamon, and a freshly squeezed lemon juice.


•To make the topping, mix 300g of plain flour with a pinch of salt, 175g of sugar, and 200g of unsalted (plant-based) butter. Rub the mixture together with your fingers until it resembles bread crumbs.


•Add the fruit to your baking dish and cover it with the crumble mixture. Bake for 40-45 minutes.


•Serve with fresh cream or ice cream and fruit of your choice.
